Day 5 of USHMC’s 10th Anniversary: Health Talks, Free Consultations, and Eco-Green Pageant
On November 14th, USHMC continued its 10th-anniversary celebrations with a day focused on health education, community engagement, and sustainability. The morning featured Unidoctalks, with Dr. Rainer Alegria discussing thyroid diseases, Dr. Raulito Co on hypertension, and Dr. Ray Albert Cabigan hosting a fun interactive health trivia game.
Following the lectures, free consultations were offered, including ECGs for the first 50 patients and Ankle Brachial Index Studies.
In the evening, the hospital hosted its first-ever Mr. and Ms. Eco-Green 2024 pageant, where contestants showcased eco-friendly costumes made from recycled materials. The winners, Vince Patrick Ruado from the Pharmacy Department and Dr. Riza Eunice Bayani ROD, were celebrated for their creativity and commitment to sustainability.
The day perfectly blended health awareness, community spirit, and sensitivity to environment and sustainability advocacies of USHMC.
