USHMC CELEBRATES FOURTH DAY OF 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH UNIDOCTALKS ON OSTEOARTHRITIS AND ELDERLY OUTREACH PROGRAM
The fourth day was a day dedicated to healthcare education and community outreach, focused on enhancing the well-being of the elderly citizens of Biñan and San Pedro, Laguna.
The morning session featured the Unidoctalks lecture series, organized by the Rehabilitation Department. The discussion was centered on Osteoarthritis of the Knee and Hip, led by Dr. Karizza Calibag. In addition to the informative lecture, attendees were offered a Free Bone Screening to assess their joint health.
Later on, USHMC extended its community outreach efforts by hosting a special Outreach Program for senior citizens in Laguna. The attendees enjoyed a day filled with fun activities, entertainment, and social interaction, creating a festive atmosphere that was much appreciated by the seniors. Volunteers from USHMC assisted in making the day enjoyable, providing companionship and ensuring that each elderly participant felt cared and valued.
