DAY 3 WITH UNIDOCTALKS: FREE CLINIC AND BLOOD LETTING ACTIVITY
The third day of USHMC’s 10th year anniversary celebrations reflected USHMC’s mission to not only provide excellent healthcare but also foster education and service to the community. A series of insightful medical lectures, a free clinic and a blood letting activity brought together healthcare professionals, patients and the community.
The first lecture, “Updates on Tuberculosis in Children,” was presented by Dr. Marilyn Arellano, who shared the latest protocols on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of tuberculosis in children, a crucial topic given the ongoing global health challenges related to TB.
Dr. Karlou Mutia, provided free clinic consultation for patients suffering with knee and hip problems.
Meanwhile, a Bloodletting Activity was held in partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross – Rizal Muntinlupa Chapter. The event was part of USHMC’s ongoing community outreach efforts, encouraging employees, patients and the local community to donate blood and save lives.
