  • Treadmill Stress Test
  • This helps the cardiologist know how a patient’s heart will respond to physical stress, assess symptoms such as chest pain and palpitations to determine whether the problem is coming from the heart. Also, the test will determine if the patient is likely to develop coronary artery disease.
     

  • 24-Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
  • Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring measures a patient’s hourly blood pressure while moving around or doing routine activities for 24 hours. This test will see how the patient’s BP react to medications, or find out if they are experiencing a “white coat effect” wherein the patient’s BP are much higher when they are in the hospital/facility than at home or other places.
